The Summer Game Fest was supposed to bring Mafia fans the big announcement of Mafia 4 according to several sources – most notably Kurakis and Vortex. This, however, did not happen.
Earlier on Wednesday Kurakis suggested that the reveal may not be happening after all.
The Summer Game Fest saw, however, another Czech game trailer – Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 from Daniel Vavra, who is considered the father of Mafia series by many.
Even if Mafia 4 was not announced, we are not losing hope. We believe it eventually gets announced sooner or later. The only thing that may delay the announcement, theorists say, is GTA VI. Releasing Mafia 4 in the same year as GTA VI may not pay out. So, practically speaking, there is no need to hurry the reveal at this point.
