A new trailer of Mafia The Old Country has been released at The Game Awards. As it turns out the game has more cars than some of us expected, which is great! Driving cars with realistic physics is an essential part of the Mafia game series. A very interesting setting, imagine driving a car on a map with no (asphalt) roads.
It looks decent and my concerns have subsided. Even the soundtrack is amazing. However, I really hope that the appearance of the cars in the trailer is not a rare occurrence in the actual game and most importantly I hope that the cars will have realistic physics, like in Mafia 2.
I believe that this is what the developers need to provide so as not to let Mafia fans down and avoid being accused of turning the Mafia game franchise into a copy of Red Dead Redemption.
